  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine beef, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir until meatball mixture is well combined.
  • Use a large spoon or cookie scoop to measure them so they are all the same size (about 2-3 tablespoons of meat).
  • Roll each scoopful into about 2-inch sized meatballs (about the size of a golf ball). Place them on a plate or baking sheet until they are all rolled.
  • Cut string cheese into small pieces, about 1 inch in length. Push a cheese cube into the center of each meatball, and then close them back up around the piece of cheese, by reshaping the meatball to seal in the cheese.
  • Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place the meatballs in a single layer to the basket.
  • Air fry at 380 degrees F for 7-10 minutes, until the hamburger meat is done. To make sure it’s done, use a meat thermometer to read the internal temperature, minimum temperature should be about 160 degrees F.
